Lovely Days...

Today I've started working on designs for the Tigerprint competition which is titled 'Lovely Days'. It's theme lends itself to all kinds of special days such as Mothers Day, Valentines, Wedding and Anniversary. I've started with some pretty flowers and have lots of ideas for more designs...

Happy New Year!

Since giving birth to my son 6 months ago, starting a teaching assistant course and volunteering in a school two days a week the time has flown past and I have barely done any design work. This week I have rediscovered my sketchbook and have begun to get inspired again by visiting Pinterest and doodling some abstract patterns. This year my plan is to build up my portfolio by doing as much drawing as possible, to take up some commission work, and work on some personal design projects. Here's to a successful new year!...

Birth Announcements

Today I've been working on some designs for birth announcement cards. I designed some for family and friends when our son was born but felt I didn't have enough time to put much effort into them. So now things have settled and I'm feeling refreshed I thought I'd have another go at these - which were so enjoyable to do!
